Belle d'Opium

Happy Friday! I hope you are all doing well...I am still trying to catch up on work, but thought I would share another perfume in my stash.

Belle d'Opium was in my advent calendar this December. I love the blue-purple bottle, and was hoping this would be a better version of Opium by YSL. It is. On smelling the scent from the bottle, I get a slight undertone of spice and amber, but the dominant notes are florals - jasmine, lily, perhaps some light citrus. I suppose I would call this a floriental.  The scent stays true on my skin. It's sillage is relatively light - it doesn't radiate more than a couple of inches from my wrist, so it is a "personal" fragrance. My only complaint is that is doesn't have much longevity, and I can barely smell it after a couple of hours. I think this would be perfect as a romantic scent to wear out to dinner with someone you love.

I give this a 3.5 out of 5 - a good scent, but I doubt I would rush to buy it in a larger size. I will wear the contents of this bottle though!

Have a wonderful weekend!
